Vancouver weather: Snowfall warning in full effect

UP to 15 centimetres is expected and the snow will likely hit Monday afternoon, overnight and into Tuesday morning.

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Feb. 11, 2019 – Sounds like Mother Nature’s tired of all our gloating about an early spring. Monday’s weather will see a second dollop of snowfall in just as many days.

Environment Canada issued a snow fall warning early Monday for the Metro Vancouver region, including Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Surrey, Langley, Richmond, Delta, West Vancouver and North Vancouver.

UP to 15 centimetres is expected and the snow will likely hit Monday afternoon, overnight and into Tuesday morning.

“This second disturbance will spread snow to virtually the entire South Coast with heaviest amounts falling tonight,” read the warning.

Today: Mainly cloudy. Light snow beginning late in the afternoon, windy as well. High of zero. Wind chill minus 12.

Tonight: Snow, up to 10 centimetres. Windy. Low of minus 3.

Tomorrow: Snow ending late in the afternoon, mix of sun and cloud. Up to 5 centimetres of snow. Windy early in the day. High of plus 1.
