A woman has been found with a pair of scissors sticking out the side of her head after she had come out to investigate an argument out the front of her Logan unit complex.
The woman’s roommates found her and comforted her until police and paramedics arrived, but detectives believe the stabbing was random.
Officers were called to the unit complex on North Road in the Logan suburb of Woodridge about 2am on Monday after reports of a stabbing.
A police spokeswoman said the 25-year-old victim heard an argument out the front of the complex.
She walked out to see what was going on and tell those involved to move on before being attacked.
Police believe her injuries were non-life-threatening. An investigation has been launched.
